So this wiki and channel are here to either :

facilitate decision on which tools to use,
improve the way you use your current tools,
design new tools based on what is existing or from scratch.

In your business or university you probably have ERP, wikis, or just paperbooks to manage information why couldn't you benefits from similar tools for yourself?

Background

This wiki, started in early July 2009, is the non-live medium for the ##pim channel on Freenode focusing on ways to manage personal information more efficiently.
