Principle

More systems, from ShiftSpace on the web to Layar on mobile phone, make Augmented Reality usable now. How can it be done efficiently?

Cross-systems
- if you are using this system X on your mobile phone, Y on your laptop and Z on your TV, you should not need to re-write the same information again
- if system X closes, you should not loose your information
Personnalized
- you should not be limited to only sold content

    - note that the 2 types of pattern are not excluse, i.e. an overlay can be both online and offline

use Wikitude on a G1 at Guillaume's place to dynamically display the next conference in the university facing his flat
- geotagged
- use Android Emulator from the SDK with the Geo Location Provider Emulation feature to test

test with theBlah worked pretty well
- even proved by screenshots through walls, and the actual bus stop
- updated fast (nearly instantaneous) despite being tagged from the other side of the globe
- had to decrease distance first in order to reduce the amount of POIs
requests for wikitude
- public URL per POI
- check a geotagged place before going there directly
- make better visuals (allow HTML?)
  - widgets rather that raw text
    - example: getting the RSS feed of talks at the faculty
- automatically display POI by a specific user, of a specific type, etc...
